LLDPE & Nylon Polymer Grades

LLDPE and Nylon polymer materials for film, packaging, rotomoulding, pipe and industrial applications. Exact grade selection depends on processing method, required properties and supplier specifications.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

LLDPE & Nylon Grades — Product Information

LLDPE is used across film, rotomoulding and pipe applications, while Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6 grades serve a range of engineering and film-related uses. Available grades, forms and properties must be confirmed against the intended application and supplier technical data.

POLYMER GRADE OVERVIEW

Common Grades & Indicative Draft Specifications

The following figures are reproduced from the supplied alternative draft as preliminary reference points only. They are not verified live offers and must be confirmed against current manufacturer TDS/COA.

LLDPE Film Grade Resin

Prime virgin linear low-density polyethylene for blown or cast film extrusion.

  • Draft MFI: 1.0 g/10 min (190°C / 2.16 kg)
  • Draft density: 0.918–0.920 g/cm³
  • Options: Slip / anti-block additive packages, subject to grade
  • Supply formats: Bagged pellets; confirm packing and origin

LLDPE Rotomoulding Grade

Polyethylene powder or granules for rotational moulding of tanks, bins and molded parts.

  • Draft MFI: 4.0–4.5 g/10 min (190°C / 2.16 kg)
  • Draft density: 0.932–0.936 g/cm³
  • Draft particle size: 35-mesh powder (approx. 300–500 μm)
  • UV options: UV-stabilization levels to be confirmed by grade

Nylon 6 (PA6)

Polyamide 6 grades and rolls for barrier films, thermoforming and engineering uses.

  • Draft relative viscosity: 2.8–3.4 (test method dependent)
  • Draft melting point: 220–225°C
  • Draft density: approx. 1.14 g/cm³
  • Formats: Resin chips or film/roll forms, subject to supply

Nylon 6,6 (PA66)

Engineering polyamide for components requiring stiffness, strength and thermal performance.

  • Draft melting point: 260–265°C
  • Draft density: 1.14–1.15 g/cm³
  • Draft tensile strength: 80–85 MPa (grade/test dependent)
  • Forms: Resin pellets; filled and unfilled grades subject to availability

Values are transcribed from the attached draft catalog and are not independently certified. Always request the supplier’s current technical data sheet, safety data sheet and certificate of analysis for the exact grade.
